She began showing promise to her High School nuns after winning “The Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow Award” so the sister’s acts began mirroring a very popular Disney film.  Unbeknownst, she was excused from study hall to study the hallmark of her future with private lessons in the sewing room with Sister Margret Mary.  Years later she would open a sewing workshop in San Francisco that became a Mecca for the trade.  Today she designs her own line of clothing and home decorating patterns for Vogue Patterns and she still conducts retreats for her craft called “Design Outside the Lines.” Following her heart to Paris she developed the ultimate recipe for 7 magical, inspiring and artful days in Paris.
Our Interview with Marcy Tilton:
“Joie de Vivre”** lightly perfumes the air of a bustling street cafe where Marcy Tilton (fashion designer and Paris expert) caresses her glass and shares Paris in an up close and detailed interview.  She’s gained her exquisite understanding about the city of lights hosting special caravans cleverly titled “Paris Tilton” that showcase design, fashion, textile and art of Paris.  G-Rev had the esteemed opportunity to interview Marcy gearing our questions on practicality and functionality about fashion, travel, and Paris for our readers.  What she delivered was spectacular insight on all you would ever want to know.  (**The Joy of Living)

Expand Your Horizon Not Your Waist Line, Maintaining a Heathly Diet & Fittness Routine While on Vacation By: Howard Carter III 01/05/2011

When I returned from Greece my waistline looked like I ate everything deep-fried in it.  I returned in a Super-sized version.  Although I don’t believe in the fad-like “New Years Resolution,” but on the eve of a new year and new vacations: “New Years Regulation.”  After burning the fat off my research I am left with two categories that everything runs off from, Planning and Exercising (Plan.E.)

“If you fail to plan then you plan to fail.”  First things first, avoid loading up on empty calories at the airport, layover, and subsequently on the plane itself.  You can do this by staying hydrated so bring bring your own water bottle to the airport to refill.  Pack protein bars and nuts to eat during long flights and avoid greasy airport food.  By that steady stream of protein you avoid insulin dips that makes your body begin storing fat as opposed to burning it (so the experts say).

Press Play: The Tech Savvy Traveler in Stereo Love By: Howard Carter III 01/05/2011

Enjoy the sound of this winter’s international hit song “Stereo Love” while you read and begin to fold in the rapture from the sights and sounds Mykonos in the Greek Isles by a simple touch of our hand.  This wets your appetite for the feast your eyes will over indulge there or anywhere in the globe.  I will show how powerful this touch has become by introducing mobile applications, products, websites and information to make your next vacation as easy as pressing play.

I was once told that you “eat with your eyes first” so I will lend that knowledge to travel and make our first stop on “Google Earth” to virtually experience any destination.  This is a very powerful tool navigating through sexy places like Myknonos all while your sitting on your couch romanticizing about finding that “stereo love” on your visit.  This island will take your breath away but at least you can take a picture to remember it by with the Panasonic Lumix that has a built-in GPS keeping track of your photos by location.
